Elaine Chan, founder and managing principal of FIOH Global Asset Management and Strategies, LLC, has been in the field of finance and economics for over twenty five years. With the academic training as an Economist, Elaine has worked for General Motors Corporation, The World Bank, Nextel Communications, AT&T Wireless, and Cendant Corporation. She was a wealth manager at Merrill Lynch from 2005 to 2011 and she is a Certified Financial Planner, a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor and a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst. Elaine graduated from Cornell University with Master’s and Ph.D. degrees in Economics.
Elaine’s work experience and academic training has broadened and deepened her understanding of global economic interdependence. She recognizes that one can no longer look at one market or one country in isolation when developing an investment strategy – which must be versatile to the changes in the global economic development with a disciplined approach.
Elaine enjoys helping clients realize their financial goals. She applies a customized process of establishing objectives, developing a mutually agreed-upon investment strategy and implementing customized solutions to maximize the likelihood of achieving goals.
Mona Sheung
Client Service Manager
Mona Sheung is an experienced customer focused bilingual professional with background in the financial, banking, information technology and retail industries. As Manager of Business Operations for Network Services group in Nuance Communications, Mona was required to work closely with the Corporate Finance team to establish annual division budget and perform timely financial analysis for the business unit. She is also the main liaison for all of the vendor management. Prior to Nuance, she has worked for Merrill Lynch, Accenture, and United Commercial Bank.
Mona graduated from University of Hawaii with B.S. degree in Accounting and M.S. degree in Business Administration. She is an exceptional team player with excellent analytical, interpersonal and organizational skills. She is committed and dedicated to helping her clients achieve their specific financial goal. Mona and her family reside in the Bay Area of California.
Kendra Tampinco
Communications and Marketing Specialist
A communications and marketing specialist, Kendra’s over five years of professional experience includes projects on JCP and Longs Drugs advertising with ACG, business development with Dental Health Services, and with Royal Alliance, a financial service company. She enjoys working with a diverse group of professionals. Kendra graduated cum laude with a BA in Fine Art from Bridgewater State University (Boston) in 2003, having also spent time at Cal Poly Pomona. She returned to California for her post-grad education, and while studying part-time also gained valuable work experience in advertising, marketing, finance, sales, and teaching. Kendra, her husband, and her toddler now reside in Bellevue, WA.
